Ecoracer is Italian Sportboat Champion!

Ecoracer, the recyclable race boat prototype powered by OneSails 4T FORTE composite sails, opened the race season with a victory at the Italian Sportboat Championship. A winning both for the regatta and for the environment since the exclusive 4T FORTE developed by OneSails in 2013 are also the only recyclable sails on the market combining top performance with durability and sustainability.

The Ecoracer is the fully recyclable sportboat made of sustainable materials. The valuable natural fibre reinforcements, sandwich cores and resin can be reused to produce new components. Compared to conventional glass fibres, flax fibres reduce the CO2 footprint of the composite from cradle to gate and don’t rely on fossil resources to produce the raw material. Instead, they sequester CO2 from the atmosphere during their growth and act as a natural CO2 sink during their entire lifetime. The designing team of Ecoracer consists of Matteo Polli, that took care of the water lines, Alessandro Pera and Mattia Sconocchia that dealt with the structures, Alessandro Stagni, engineer and Samuele Nicolettis, CEO of OneSails Nord Est Verona and Sail Designer. We are very proud and happy of the first victory and look forward to having more!

We are proud to announce that our Multi Tradewind Sail, projected and developed by OneSails Palma, has been nominated for the next edition of the DAME Design Awards. The sail is already proving itself on Kalmahe, currently crossing the Atlantic.
OneSails’s 4T FORTE technology is now on board the Neoliner Origin project, which offers genuinely decarbonized maritime cargo services based on the efficiency of using wind as the primary means of propulsion.
OneSails is proud to announce the affiliation of a new sail loft in Lorient, France – a globally recognized epicenter of offshore sailing. This strategic addition not only reinforces the brand’s growing presence in the French market, but also strengthens its long-term commitment to ocean racing.
What a spectacular week it was at the 2025 Copa del Rey MAPFRE—one of the most competitive regattas on the calendar—and a true highlight came from TECHNONICOL, skippered by Estonia’s Mati Sepp, who claimed the ORC B European Championship title after an intense head-to-head contest that went right to the final race.
The 2025 Optimist World Championship, hosted in the coastal town of Portorož, Slovenia, brought together the world’s top young sailors. OneSails emerged as the most dominant sailmaker in the fleet, powering 113 boats—more than any other brand. The championship saw top performances from sailors using OneSails: 🥈 Mihael (Slovenia) – 2nd Overall 🥉 Karl (Demark) – 3rd Overall 🥉 Margaux (Hong Kong) – 3rd Girl Overall
This morning, just after 5 AM CET, Conrad Colman crossed the finish line of his second Vendée Globe, completing a grueling race across three oceans, rounding three legendary capes, and covering nearly 23,906 nautical miles of the theoretical course. 21st overall | 4th among non-foilers | Battling with the top 3 throughout the race and finishing just over 24 hours behind the first of them. He crossed the line only 13 minutes behind the legendary Jean Le Cam — an extraordinary achievement!
