Pip Hare – Vendée Globe 2020

After 95 days, 11 hours, 37 mins and 30 seconds of racing, Pip Hare is the first British skipper to finish the 2020-21 Vendée Globe, and only the eighth women ever to finish the race in its history.

Her performance (19th place) on a 21-year-old IMOCA 60 the oldest boat yet to finish this edition, has drawn admiration from all corners of the world. The British sailor chose a full set of OneSails sails, built in a single piece using the exclusive 4T FORTE composite technology.

4T FORTE are the only sails worldwide certified ISO 14040 Life Cycle Assessment and, unlike all other sails, are 100% recyclable in a standard waste separation process at the end of their life.

Congrats Pip! You really deserved it. The whole OneSails team admire you and is proud of having been part of your outstanding performance!

We are proud to announce that our Multi Tradewind Sail, projected and developed by OneSails Palma, has been nominated for the next edition of the DAME Design Awards. The sail is already proving itself on Kalmahe, currently crossing the Atlantic.
OneSails’s 4T FORTE technology is now on board the Neoliner Origin project, which offers genuinely decarbonized maritime cargo services based on the efficiency of using wind as the primary means of propulsion.
OneSails is proud to announce the affiliation of a new sail loft in Lorient, France – a globally recognized epicenter of offshore sailing. This strategic addition not only reinforces the brand’s growing presence in the French market, but also strengthens its long-term commitment to ocean racing.
What a spectacular week it was at the 2025 Copa del Rey MAPFRE—one of the most competitive regattas on the calendar—and a true highlight came from TECHNONICOL, skippered by Estonia’s Mati Sepp, who claimed the ORC B European Championship title after an intense head-to-head contest that went right to the final race.
The 2025 Optimist World Championship, hosted in the coastal town of Portorož, Slovenia, brought together the world’s top young sailors. OneSails emerged as the most dominant sailmaker in the fleet, powering 113 boats—more than any other brand. The championship saw top performances from sailors using OneSails: 🥈 Mihael (Slovenia) – 2nd Overall 🥉 Karl (Demark) – 3rd Overall 🥉 Margaux (Hong Kong) – 3rd Girl Overall
This morning, just after 5 AM CET, Conrad Colman crossed the finish line of his second Vendée Globe, completing a grueling race across three oceans, rounding three legendary capes, and covering nearly 23,906 nautical miles of the theoretical course. 21st overall | 4th among non-foilers | Battling with the top 3 throughout the race and finishing just over 24 hours behind the first of them. He crossed the line only 13 minutes behind the legendary Jean Le Cam — an extraordinary achievement!
