Racing with the Spirits

OneSails ruled the waves at this year's Spirit Yachts Regatta in Guernsey, which was the first event exclusively for Spirit owners. Based in Guernsey’s capital St Peter Port, the regatta comprised a six-race series of passage, round the cans, and windward/leeward courses organised by the Guernsey Yacht Club (GYC). The competitive series was won overall by Spirit 52 Flight of Ufford, which raced with OneSails' recyclable 4T FORTE sails. John Parker and Kyle Berry from the OneSails GBR (East) loft crewed onboard Flight of Ufford for the regatta and offered technical support to all Spirit owners. John commented, "A highly competitive week on the water for the Spirits and it was great to see sails by OneSails across the fleet, which ranged from day sailors to high performance racing yachts." Spirit Yachts CEO Sean McMillan said, "Spirit's partnership with John Parker from OneSails spans nearly 30 years. Not only do John and his team supply quality, performance sails to all sizes of Spirit yachts, they offer invaluable advice and unwavering support to our owners and us as a company." Spirit's next regatta will take place in 2024.
