Settimana Velica Internazionale di Trieste

The "Settimana Velica Internazionale di Trieste" took place during the last week of September and was hosted by the Yacht Club Adriaco di Trieste, in its 110th anniversary. The event started with a 88 Nm coastal race, the 52nd edition of the "Lunga dell'Adriatico", where the very light breeze gave hard time to the boats to complete the course, but during the second racing weekend, the wind was enought to achieve all the schedued races. After a total of 5 races, included the coastal course, Sergio Quirino Valente's Duvetica claimed the IRC overall and class victory and the Orc overall and class1 victory. The Arya 415 Duvetica is equipped with Millenium Carbon 2013 OneSails sails. Emanuele Costantin's Marrakech Express took second place and Martino Bolletti's Mordilla came in third position. Sergio Quirino Valente was also awarded with the UVAI 2013 "Owner of the Year 2013" class 1 prize, during the Genova Nautical Fair 2013.
