He went on to work with North Sails in their One Design and Service departments, followed by a stint at Banks Sails UK, cutting Checkmate radial sails designed by Ken Rose.\r\nHis career then took him to the Caribbean, where he spent seven years managing lofts in St Maarten and Barbados. There, he oversaw OEM and charter specification sails for the region\u2019s booming charter fleets.
