FLORENCE LOFT
Originally created with a pooling of the talents of Marco Holm, Davide Innocenti and Gianni Benassai in 1980, the loft was, to begin with, the Italian branch of the American group “Horizon”. After only 5 years, the loft joined the UK sailmakers group, a brand famous worldwidw. Research and development of new technologies began shortly afterwards with a big step forward coming in the form of the invention of Tape Drive in 1984 the first sail in the world with continuous fibres orientated according to the pressure distribution of the sails.
UK Italy, now OneSails has won in all seas and at all the most important competitions (IOR, IRC, IMS etc.) as a result of its passion for competition and a collaboration with the most talented sailors in the world names such as Vascotto, Chieffi, Semeraro, Bertrand, Passoni, Kolius and Pelaschier. Technology and innovation are the aims of the loft's three owners, and the collaboration with ICAD and the engineering faculty of Florence University is a natural consequence of this spirit, allowing the loft the use of the most sophisticated fluid-dynamicssoftware. The pinnacle of this intense research was the Admiral's Cup win by Merit.

Owner and director of design. America's Cup sailor with Moro di Venezia. The experience in the America’s Cup with 'Moro di Venezia' in 1992 and the many world championships shows that Davide Innocenti is a Winner. He is known all around the world because of the quality of the designs and the results of the development in sails and sailmaking.

Owner and in charge of the purchasing. He is the business man which has formed the initial group. His wide experience on fibres and cloths makes him the right person to carry on the research and development on cloth materials. The results obtained in his field makes him one of the most qualified persons in the sail design business.

The family saga goes on. Born with sailing in his blood, he took from his uncle Marco the same great passion. Since he began working as a sailmaker he's the head of service and after sales.
