Tuning Guide

Thanks for purchasing our products!

This tuning guide is intended to be a reference to use as a first set up with OneSails. Sailors are very much encouraged to try different settings in order to find that extra speed that we all are looking for.

NOTE: tuning guide optimized for SELDEN masts.

RAKE SETTING

With the shrouds at base setting, measure with the main halyard: max hoist to upper rudder pintle 10.040 mm

in alternative, take a bucket with some weight and suspend it with the gnk halyard along the mast. Mark the halyard at the the upper top of lower P stripe of the mast (at the attachment of the boom). Swing the halyard to the forestay and mark it at the same mark as the halyard. Measure the forestay from the mark to the bottom, the measure should be 1.385 mm.
